My job has a lot of what I call “move the ball forward” days. Business development is about forming and nurturing relationships, being helpful, sharing knowledge, and making connections. I won’t close a deal every day, or even every week. So, despite today’s 95 degree heat, I found myself feeling a bit jealous of the construction workers on BC’s campus. Each day’s progress will be tangible and they have a clear vision of what the final project will look like (see pictures).
Perhaps that is why I blog. Uploading a new post feels like my version of a tangible accomplishment and reading your comments is my reward. So, dear readers… thank you for sticking with me on this journey!
Oh, and Go Eagles! I can’t wait to see the new grassy O’Neill Plaza.
